The location was amazing. I was right on the royal mile. accessing the door codes via a pdf was simple. Clear check-in instructions were provided. the room exceeded my expectations. It was much bigger than the photos showed. i loved the vibe and the exposed walls. The castle theme suited me perfectly.

the stairs were quite a climb, especially with luggage. part of the safety rope was missing. the noise from the street at night was noticeable.

the location was superb. it was close to all tourist attractions. i was delighted with the coffee, tea, and biscuits left in the room. all information given was accurate.

the mattress was old. i asked about it and was told it was only 2 years old, though the tag said it was 16 years old. there was decreased water flow in the shower. the blind was broken and was to have been broken for some time.

The location was definitely ideal. I could easily walk to many attractions. The room decor was nice. I also appreciated the little welcome package with biscuits tea coffee and milk.

The stairs were a challenge with luggage. The room lacked closet space so my luggage had to stay on the floor. The internet was not reliable.
